I’d watched the original Cloverfield and knew it to be a pretty basic monstrous action film. This edition has a bad reputation in the reviews and I can see that it’s flawed/silly in many ways but I found it to have an excellent & diverse cast, and the pacing and story was decent enough that it kept me entertained. Would probs recommend.
